Mulga Country was painted en plein air in Watarrka National Park, Northern Territory Australia. It was painted from the base of Kings Canyon, a rock plateau that rises 100s of meters. It features the soft hills to the side of the rock walls. The grey fan shapped mulga shrubs dot the red rocky terrain.
